Turning Cape Town's recyclables into cash, jobs and a cleaner city

WasteGo Green is a community waste buyback and recycling operation in Milnerton. We pay for your recyclables, create dignified work in Dunoon, Joe Slovo and Parklands, and ship material onward to recyclers — closing the loop.

How buyback works

Four simple steps turn the recyclables in your home into cash in your pocket — and material kept out of landfill.

01

Collect

Gather your recyclables — bottles, cans, paper and plastic — at home, school or work.

02

Clean

Rinse and dry your material. Clean recyclables are worth more and recycle better.

03

Sort

Separate into streams: plastics, paper, cans and glass. Sorted loads earn the best price.

04

Earn

Bring it to a buyback or Packa-Ching day. We weigh and pay you — make some kilorands!

The area's recycling hub

We run the dedicated waste-processing facility for this part of Milnerton — keeping recyclables in the community and out of landfill.

Right where it's needed

Sitting between a major industrial basin and the high-density Joe Slovo community, we recover both business and household recyclables right at the source.

Powered by local collectors

Our network of waste-reclamation agents across Joe Slovo brings material in every day — a restored, energised local supply chain that puts cash back into the community.
